Section 1(3) in The Mizo District (Forest) Act, 1955
(3)It shall [come into force on such date] [The Act came into force on 1st January, 1956, vide Notification No. E 711 /F-l, dated 14-12-1955.] as may be notified by the District Council in the Assam Gazette, hereinafter referred to as the "appointed day".
