(1)The Standing Committee on Academic Affairs may make regulations consistent with this Act, the statutes and the ordinances to carry out the duties assigned to it thereunder.(2)All such regulations shall have effect from such date as the Standing Committee on Academic Affairs may direct but every regulation so made shall be submitted, as soon as may be, to the Senate for its consideration at its next succeeding meeting.Chapter - VII Admission And Residence Of Students
