(1)The University shall have the following powers, namely-(a)to provide for instructions in all disciplines pertaining to Technical Education, Higher Education, Medical, Para Medical & Dental Education, Legal Education, Aviation Education, Social Sciences, General Sciences and other areas of education and to make provision for research and for the advancement and dissemination of knowledge;(b)to carry out all such other activities as may be necessary or feasible in furtherance of the objects of the University;(c)to hold examinations for, and to institute grant and confer degrees or other academic distinction to, and on, persons, who-
