Section 2(9)(k) in The Bihar Electricity Supply Undertakings (Acquisition) Act, 1979

(k)'Works' includes electric supply lines, sub-station, generation stations unless expressly excluded being taken over under the terms of the licence and also includes the land, buildings, machinery apparatus required to supply energy by the licensee ;
