Section 1 in The Meghalaya Cinemas (Regulation) Rules
1. Short title, and extent.
- (i) These Rules may be called the Meghalaya Cinemas (Regulation) Rules.(ii)They shall apply to all exhibitions by means of Cinematograph in the State of Meghalaya.(iii)[ They shall deemed to have come into force in the 21st day of January, 1972.] [As per provision of sub-section (2) of Section 1 of the Meghalaya Adaptation of Laws and Order (No. 3) 1973.]
