Section 74(6) in The Himachal Pradesh Police Act, 2007
(6)Based on the District level and State level Internal Security Schemes, the Director- General of Police shall prepare Plans for acquisition of necessary equipment and for the training of Police Officers including Special Units and shall submit proposals to the State Police Board from time to time.
