Section 57(1) in West Bengal Trade Unions Rules, 1998
(1)At every election, unless otherwise directed by the Returning Officer by an order in this regard specifying an alternative place of counted., votes shall be counted at the polling station immediately after the poll by the Presiding Officer with the assistance of the Polling Officers appointed for that polling station.
