37. Cognisance of offences.
(1)No court shall take cognisance of any offence punishable under this Act except on a report in writing of the facts constituting such offence made by an officer of the Authority generally or specially authorised by it in this behalf.(2)Notwithstanding anything contained in section 200 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, (2 of 1974) it shall not be necessary to examine the authorised officer of the Authority when cognisance of an offence is taken on a report of such officer under sub-section (1).
