Section 17 in The Gujarat Ayurved University Act, 1965
17. Meeting of Senate.
(1)The Senate shall, on a date to be fixed by the Chancellor, meet once a year at a meeting to be called the annual meeting of the Senate.(2)The Vice-Chancellor may, whenever he thinks fit, and shall, upon a requisition in writing signed by not less than eleven members of the Senate, convene a special meeting of the Senate.
