Section 1 in The Quality Of Service Of Broadband Service Regulations, 2006
1. Short title, extent and commencement .-(i) These regulations shall be called as Quality of Service of Broadband Service Regulations 2006.
(ii)These regulations shall be applicable to all the Internet Service Providers, Basic Service Providers, Unified Access Service Providers and Cellular Mobile Telecom Service Providers including Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited and Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited., providing Broadband Service.(iii)These regulations shall come into force with effect from 1st January, 2007.
