Section 544(a) in Police Regulations, Bengal , 1943
(a)On receipt from station officers of the lists of persons whose names have been removed from the conviction register, the headquarters Court officer shall, after making the necessary corrections in his register, forward the lists to the Superintendent, who shall satisfy himself that the register and indices have been corrected.
