Section 1 in Assam Moslem Marriages and Divorces Registration Act, 1935
1. Short Title Commencement.
(1)This Act may be called "The Assam Moslem Marriages and Divorces Registration Act, 1935."(2)It shall come into force in any part of the province on such date as the Local Government may, by notification in the Assam Gazette, appoint in this behalf.(3)It extends to the whole of Assam.
