Section 1 in The U.P. Junior High Schools (Payment of Salaries of Teachers and other Employees) Act, 1978
1. Short title, extent and commencement. -
(1)This Act may be called the Uttar Pradesh Junior High Schools (Payment of Salaries of Teachers and other Employees) Act, 1978.(2)It extends to the whole of Uttar Pradesh.(3)It shall come into force on such date as the State Government may by [notification] [The Act has been enforced w.e.f. 1.5.1979 vide Notification No. 1645/XV-6-79-28(107)-77, dated 11.4.1979.] appoint in this behalf.
