Section 6(i) in Andhra Pradesh Engineering Common Entrance Test for diploma holders for admission into B.E., B.Tech. and B.Pharm Courses Rules, 2004
(i)The candidates who have secured qualifying marks in the Entrance Test and the candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe communities to whom qualifying marks have not been prescribed, shall be assigned the rank in the order of merit on the basis of the aggregate marks obtained. An integrated rank taking all branches of Engineering/ Technology into consideration shall also be generated.
