Section 27(4)(a) in The Rajasthan Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology, Udaipur Act, 2000

(a)There shall be a Dean who shall be the Chairman of the Faculty and the board of Studies of the concerned Faculty and shall be responsible to the Vice-Chancellor for the organisation and implementation of the teaching programme of the Faculty.
