Section 4(3) in The Himachal Pradesh Police Act, 2007
(3)Recruitment of the Non-Gazetted Police Officers Grade-II to District and State Cadres shall be made through Police Recruitment Board, in accordance with Recruitment and Promotion Rules framed by the State Government:Provided that the Director-General of Police may transfer Police Officers Grade-II from the State Cadre to a District Cadre and vice-versa under general orders of the State Government.
