Section 28(a) in The Maharashtra Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Rules, 1983
(a)to analyse or test the sample of air or emission submitted to it under section 26 by the Board or any officer empowered by the Board in this behalf and to communicate to the Board or such officer as the case may be, result of such analysis or test;
