171. Vibrators.
- The employer shall ensure at a construction site of a building or other construction work that -(a)a building worker, who is in good physical condition operates vibrators used in concreting work.(b)all practical measures are taken to reduce the amount of vibration transmitted to the operators working in concreting work;(c)when electric vibrators are used in concreting work shall be earthed, heavily insulated and current shall be switched off when such vibrators are not in use.
