Section 19(a) in Manonmaniam Sundaranar University Act, 1990
(a)Six members nominated by the Pro-Chancellor of whom not less than three shall be nominated to secure the representation of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes not otherwise adequately represented.
