Section 71(2) in The Himachal Pradesh Police Act, 2007
(2)The Superintendent of Police shall nominate one of the members of the Community Liaison Group as the Convener. The Group shall articulate the existing and emerging policing needs of the area, which will be taken into consideration by the Superintendent of Police while preparing the strategic Policing Plan and annual sub-plan for the District and the Group shall perform such other functions as may be prescribed.
