Section 31(1) in Andhra Pradesh Bio-fertilisers (Monitoring and Quality Control), Act, 2006
(1)Whoever, -(i)manufactures, sells, stocks or exhibits for sale or distributes any Biofertiliser deemed to be nonstandard under Section 2 (10); or(ii)manufactures, sells, stocks or exhibits for sale or distributes a Bio fertiliser without a certificate of Registration; or(iii)manufactures, sells or distributes a Bio-fertiliser in contravention of Section 12; or(iv)obstructs a Bio-fertiliser inspector in the exercise of his powers of charge of this Act,-shall be punishable,-(a)for the first offence, with imprisonment for a term which may extend to one year or with fine which may extend to rupees fifty thousand, or with both;(b)for the second and subsequent offence with imprisonment of a term which may extend to two years or with fine which may extend to rupees one lakh, or with both.
