Section 30 in The Constitution of Jammu and Kashmir

30. Conditions of Office.

(1)The [Governor] [Substituted for 'Sadar-i-Riyasat' by the Constitution of Jammu and Kashmir (Sixth Amendment) Act, 1965.] shall not be a member of either House of Legislature and if a member of either House be [appointed] [Substituted for 'elected and recognised' by section 6, ibid.] as [Governor] [Substituted for 'Sadar-i-Riyasat' by the Constitution of Jammu and Kashmir (Sixth Amendment) Act, 1965.], he shall be deemed to have vacated his seat in the House on the date on which he enters upon his office as [Governor] [Substituted for 'Sadar-i-Riyasat' by the Constitution of Jammu and Kashmir (Sixth Amendment) Act, 1965.].
(2)The [Governor] [Substituted for 'Sadar-i-Riyasat' by the Constitution of Jammu and Kashmir (Sixth Amendment) Act, 1965.] shall not hold any other office of profit.
(3)The [Governor] [Substituted for 'Sadar-i-Riyasat' by the Constitution of Jammu and Kashmir (Sixth Amendment) Act, 1965.] shall be entitled to such emoluments, allowances and privileges as are specified in the Second Schedule.
(4)The emoluments and allowances of the [Governor] [Substituted for 'Sadar-i-Riyasat' by the Constitution of Jammu and Kashmir (Sixth Amendment) Act, 1965.] shall not be diminished during his term of office.
