Section 113(2) in The Chhattisgarh Motor Vehicles Rules, 1994
(2)Where during the period mentioned in sub-rule (1)-(i)the article is claimed by not more than one person, the permit holder may after making such enquiry as he deems fit and if necessary, after taking an indemnity bond from the claimant hand over the article to the claimant;(ii)the article is claimed by two or more than two persons, the permit holder shall hand over the same to the officer-in-charge of the nearest police station.
