Section 2 in The U.P. Power Threshers (Quality Control) Order, 1983
2. Definitions.
- In this Order, unless the context otherwise requires,-(a)"Power Threshers" means a machine operated by prime mover to do one or more of the processes of detaching the grains from the earheads, separating the grains from Bhusa and making the bhusa and of cleaning the grains, whether with or without elevating system for direct bagging;(b)"Schedule" means the schedule to this Order;(c)"Specified Standards" in relation to a power thresher means the standards established and published by the Indian Standards Institution, as specified in the Schedule.
