Section 3(2) in The Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (Technical Standards and Specifications including Safety Standards for Natural Gas Pipelines) Regulations, 2009
(2)Definitions of design, material and equipment, welding, fabrication, installation, testing, commissioning, operation and maintenance and corrosion control of natural gas pipeline network shall be in accordance with the requirements of ASME B31.8 except in so far as such requirements are specifically cancelled, replaced or modified by the requirements specified in these regulations.
