Section 84 in The Dock Workers (Safety, Health And Welfare) Regulations, 1990
84. Lifting appliances and other equipment .-(1) Container terminals shall be equipped with suitable lifting appliances and transport equipment which shall be maintained in good repair and working order.
(2)( a ) In the case of fork-lift trucks employed for handling empty containers, the length of the forks shall be equal to the full width of the container and the capacity of the fork-lift shall be matching with the weight of the container.( b ) No fork-lift trucks shall be employed for handling container which do not have fork pockets.
