(2)The Irrigation Officer shall lay out the alignments of water-courses and give notice in Form 'C' to the concerned villagers to take up the construction of water-courses and complete the same within a specified period failing which suitable action shall be taken under the provisions of Section 18 of the Act.Explanation - The notice shall be served on each owner and occupier whose lands are benefited by the irrigation work and a copy of the same shall be published in a conspicuous place in the village and in the office of the concerned Grama Panchayat.
