Section 31(3) in The U.P. Pravidhik Shiksha (Admission Conduct of Examinations and Conferment of Certificates and Diplomas) Regulations, 1992
(3)Mark-sheet shall be issued to the candidate within a period of fifteen days from the receipt of the result in the institution. Provided that, if there be any discrepancy, discovered by the Principal of the institution, in the result of any candidate, his mark-sheet shall not be issued instead the matter shall be referred to the Board for clarification and after the receipt of such clarification, the necessary mark-sheet shall be issued to the candidate.
