Section 17 in Joint Electricity Regulatory Commission for the State of Goa and Union Territories (Connectivity and Open Access in Intra-State Transmission and Distribution) Regulations, 2017
17. On the expiry of the period of Long-term Open Access, the same may be extended by the Nodal Agency on receipt of a written request from such Consumer. The request shall be accompanied by the application fee in accordance with these Regulations:
Provided that such request is submitted at least six (6)Months prior to the date on which the existing Long term Open Access ends. The Long-term Open Access Consumer shall clearly mention in the request the period for which extension is required:Provided further that in case no written request is received from the Open Access Consumer within the specified time, the said Long-term Open Access shall stand terminated automatically at 2400 hours on the date up to which it was initially granted.
