Section 9 in The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examination (BOPEE) Regulations, 2016

9. Central Pool MBBS Seats.

- (I) The Board is receiving Central Pool MBBS seats of varying numbers from Home and Health and Family Welfare Ministries Govt. of India, which have to be allotted in order of merit secured in the CET of that year to the candidates following in either of the categories specified in the order/instructions of the concerned Ministry of the Govt. of India issued from time to time.
(II)The candidates seeking admission for MBBS from the Central Pool seats shall be required to submit the following documents shown hereinafter against each category : -

1. Children of Families where a parent or direct member of thefinally has been killed in acts of terrorism or has been an aninnocent victim in cross-firing or in firing by armed forces incombating terrorism. FIR, Death Certificate, Postmortem Report and Affidavit thatno other member of the family has got benefit of this category SHO and Hospital Concerned Countersigned by SSP Concerned Administrative Secretary to Government Department of HomeAffairs
2. Children of such persons who are exposed to substantive riskdue to their assignment mainly related to combating acts ofterrorism; added weightage is to be given to persons who havecome in the hit list of terrorist organization. Certificate of threat perception Affidavit that no othermember of his/her family has got benefit of this category DIG (CID) on the basis of the report received though properchannel initiated by the SHO concerned after receivingapplication from the person claiming benefit of this category Administrative Secretary to Government Department of Homeaffairs
3. Children of such families of both Muslims and Non-Muslims whohave migrated from Kashmir due to the current situation and havelost their means of livelihood including their business or useof their property Certificate of Migration, loss of property, Business andlivelihood Affidavit that no other member has got benefit ofthis category Supporting documents for loss of Property (FIR etc.) Migrantcertificate from the concerned Relief Commissioner Administrative Secretary to Government Department of HomeAffairs
III. The seats for the Central Pool in Medical/Dental Colleges outside the State will be notified separately and recommendation of the candidates for selection will depend upon the seats made available by the Government of India/Government of other States and will also be subject to such conditions as may be prescribed by the State/Central Government.
