The Bengal Excise (Tripura Amendment) Act, 1965Act No. 4 of 1965Last Updated 18th February, 2020[Received the assent of the President on the 7th June, 1965].An Act to amend the Bengal Excise Act, 1909 (Bengal Act 5 of 1909) as extended to the Union Territory of Tripura.Be it enacted by the Legislative Assembly of Tripura in the Sixteenth Year of the Republic of India as follows :

1. Short title.

- This Act may be called the Bengal Excise (Tripura Amendment) Act, 1965.

2. Amendment of Section 7 of the Bengal Excise Act, 1909.

- In Section 7, sub-section (2), Clause (e) of the Bengal Excise Act, 1909 as extended to Tripura after the words "delegate to the Excise Commissioner", the words "or the Collector", shall be substituted in place of the words "all or".
