Section 1 in Orissa Electricity Regulatory Commission (Licensees' Standards of Performance) Regulations, 2004
1. Short title, commencement and interpretation.
(1)These Regulations may be called the Orissa Electricity Regulatory Commission (Licensees' Standards of Performance) Regulations, 2004.(2)These Regulations shall be applicable to all Distribution Licensees and all Trading Licensees engaged in supply of electricity to the public.(3)These Regulations extends to the whole of the State of Orissa.(4)These Regulations shall come into force from the date of the publication in the official Gazette.(5)The Orissa General Clauses Act, 1937 shall apply to the interpretation of this Regulation.
