Section 78(1) in The Goa, Daman and Diu Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Rules, 1975
(1)A candidate who has passed SSC/HSSC Examination shall be eligible to appear for the said examination subsequently with additional subject/s which do not involve practicals, termed as isolated subject/s.
