Section 4 in The Coinage of Fifty Rupees and Five Rupees Coins to Commemorate the Occasion of "Golden Jubilee of Indo Pak War 1965" Rules, 2015
4. Design.
- The design of the coins shall be as under:-(i)Fifty RupeesObverse:The face of the coin shall bear the Lion Capital of Ashoka Pillar in the center with the legend "lr;eso t;rs" inscribed below, flanked on the left periphery with the word "Hkkjr" in Devnagri script and on the right periphery flanked with the word "India" in English and it shall also bear the Rupee symbol ऱ and denominational value "50" in the international numerals below the Lion Capital.Reverse:The face of the coin shall bear the image of "Amar Jawan" monument along with the design of olive leaves branch on its left and right sides at the centre, with the inscription "ohjrk ,oa cfynku" in Devnagri Script on the left upper periphery and "Valour & Sacrifice" in English on the right upper periphery. The year "2015" shall be inscribed below the image of the monument. The inscription "1965 lkefjd vfHk;ku dk Lo.kZ t;arh o"kZ" in Devnagri script on the upper periphery and "Golden Jubilee 1965 Operations" in English on the lower periphery shall be written on this face of coin.(ii)Five RupeesObverse:The face of the coin shall bear the Lion Capital of Ashoka Pillar in the center with the legend "lr;eso t;rs" inscribed below, flanked on the left periphery with the word "Hkkjr" in Devnagri script and on the right periphery with the word "India" in English and it shall also bear the Rupee symbol ऱ and denominational value "5" in the international numerals below the Lion Capital.Reverse:The face of the coin shall bear the image of "Amar Jawan" monument along with the design of olive leaves branch on its left and right sides at the centre, with the inscription "ohjrk ,oa cfynku" in Devnagri Script on the left upper periphery and "Valour & Sacrifice" in English on the right upper periphery.
