Section 124 in The Building And Other Construction Workers '(Regulation Of Employment And Conditions Of Service) Central Rules, 1998
124. Illumination.
(1)The employer shall ensure at a construction site of a building or other construction work that all workplaces where excavation or tunnelling works are carried out shall be adequately illuminated in accordance with the relevant national standards.(2)Every employer carrying out excavation or tunnelling works at a construction site of a building or other construction work shall provide for emergency generators on such construction site to ensure adequate illumination at all workplaces where such excavation or tunnelling work is being carried out, in case of power failure.
