Section 23(1) in Gujarat Gas (Regulation of Transmission, Supply and Distribution) Act, 2001
(1)(a)No person other than a specified company and a person referred to in sub-section (1) of section 55 shall carry on the business of transmission in the State.(b)Subject to the rules, if any, a specified company shall carry on the business of transmission in the State.
