Section 2 in Research Assistant, Class III, in the Directorate of Economics and Statistics (Special Competitive Examination) Rules, 2015
2. Definition.
- In these rules, unless the context otherwise requires -(a)"Appendix" means an Appendix appended to these rules;(b)"Board" means the Gujarat Subordinate Services Selection Board (GSSSB), Gandhinagar;(c)"Director" means the Director of Economics and Statistics, Gujarat State, Gandhinagar;(d)"Examination" means the Special Competitive Examination held by the Board under these rules for the purpose of promotion to the post of Research Assistant, Class III, of persons specified in clause (b) of sub-rule (1) of Rule 2 of the recruitment rules.(e)"Government" means the Government of Gujarat.
