An Act to repeal the Gujarat Carriage of Goods Taxation Act, 1962.It is hereby enacted in the Fifty-eighth Year of the Republic of India as follows:Section 1. Short titleThis Act may be called the Gujarat Carriage of Goods Taxation (Repeal) Act, 1997.Section 2. Repeal of Guj. XXXIII of 1962On and from the 1st April, 1997, the Gujarat Carriage of Goods Taxation Act, 1962 shall stand repealed.
