Section 138(2) in Andhra Pradesh Metropolitan Region and Urban Development Authorities Act, 2016
(2)On declaration of an area under the sub-section (1) as a periphery area,-(a)The Authority constituted under the Act shall also be Authority for the periphery area;and(b)The powers and functions of the Authority, the Executive Committee and the Metropolitan Commissioner / Vice-Chairperson shall extend to the periphery area.
