% 22.12.2020 The hearing has been conducted through video conferencing.

1. Vide the present petition, petitioner seek directions thereby to set aside order dated 27.02.2020 passed by learned MM, Patiala House Courts in CC. No. 12634 of 2018 titled as "Wazir Singh v. Karamveer" whereby the opportunity of the Petitioner/ Accused to lead defence evidence was closed. Further seeks directions thereby to set aside the order dated 21.10.2020 passed by learned District & Sessions Judge, New Delhi District, Patiala House Courts in Criminal Revision No. 183 of 2020 titled as 'Karamveer versus Wazir Singh' there by dismissing the said revision petition. Further seeks directions thereby to pass an order to stay the proceedings of the Criminal Case No. 12658/2018 till pending disposal of the present petition and call for the trial court records in the CC no.12658/2018, Patiala House Courts, Case titled as Wazir Singh versus Karam veer.

2. Admitted case of the petitioner is that vide order dated 31.01.2020, last and final opportunity was granted to the petitioner to lead defence CRL.M.C.2198/2020 Page 1 of 2 evidence. However, on 27.02.2020 neither an application u/s 315 CrPC has been furnished nor the list of witnesses have been moved on behalf of the petitioner. On the said date also , time was being sought on behalf of the petitioner to move an appropriate application which establishes that the petitioner was merely trying to delay the proceedings pending before the Trial Court.

3. On perusal impugned order dated 27.02.2020, I find no illegality and perversity in the impugned order.

4. The petition is, accordingly, dismissed.

5. Pending application also stands disposed of.

6. The order be uploaded on the website forthwith.
