Section 3 in The Indian Merchant Shipping (Medical Examination) Rules, 1958

3. Application.

The provisions of sub-section (1) of Section 26-A of the Act shall not apply to :--
(a)[ Seamen who have been registered in the Home Trade Sector on or before the 31st May, 1972;] [Substituted by G.S.R. 702, dated 12th May, 1972.]
(b)Categories of seamen specified in column 1 subject to the conditions specified in column 2 of the subjoined table :
