Section 2 in University of Bikaner (Change of Name) Act, 2009
2. Change of name of the University of Bikaner.
(1)The name of the University of Bikaner incorporated under the University of Bikaner Act, 2003 (Act No. 13 of 2003), hereinafter referred to as the principal Act, shall, as from the date of commencement of this Act, be "The Maharaja Ganga Singh University, Bikaner".(2)Any reference to the University of Bikaner in any law for the time being in force or my indenture, instrument, or other documents shall be read and construed as a reference to that University under its name as altered by this Act.(3)Nothing in this Act shall affect the continuity of the corporate status of the said University.
