Section 1 in The Bihar (Coal Mining) Area Development Authority Act, 1986
1. Short title, extent and commencement.
(1)This Act may be called the Bihar [Mineral] [Substituted 'Mineral' for 'Coal Mining' in the body of the Act, vide Bihar Coal Mining Area Development Authority (Amendment) Act, 1992. Sections 2 and 3 (i).] Area Development Authority Act, 1986;(2)It extends to the whole of the State of Bihar;(3)It shall come into force on such date and in such areas as the State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint.
