:ORDER
The writ petition has been filed for a direction, directing the respondents herein to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 06.07.2016 seeking to shift all further Ambalchery Upper Primary CRC Meetings from Mavadipannai to Perikulam, Ambalchery Region.
2.According to the petitioner, he is working as Headmaster in R.C.Middle School, Saveriarpuram, Tuticorin District. Under the SSA scheme, the State Government is conducting teachers' meeting for enhancing the efficiency of the teachers in any Saturday of every month. There are 385 Block Resource Centres (BRC) all over the Tamil Nadu and the every Block Resource Centre (BRC) has been set up with some Cluster Resource Centre (CRC) at the rate of 8 to 10 schools. Every CRC is separated as Primary CRC (Standard I to V) and Upper Primary CRC (Standard VI to VIII). The third respondent BRC has been set up with 3 CRC as Mavadipannai, Kurumbur and Ambalachery. According to the third respondent, BRC, every Primary CRC and Upper Primary CRC meeting had been functioned in its own region respectively. Ambalachery Primary CRC meeting has been functioned in Peikulam, Ambalachery Region. But, Ambalachery Upper Primary CRC meetings are conducted in Mavadipannai, which is situated more than 50 km distance from Peikulam. Further, there is no direct bus facility from Ambalachery Region to Mavadipannai. Even though more than 90 female teachers are participating in the Upper Primary CRC meetings at Mavadipannai, there is no sufficient toilet facility and class rooms for conducting the above meetings. Since it is causing lot of inconvenience to all the women teachers, working in Ambalachery, the petitioner submitted a representation on behalf of the teachers working in Ambalachery Region to the 2nd and 3rd respondents on 06.07.2016, requesting to shift the Ambalachery Upper Primary CRC meetings from Mavadipannai to Peikulam, Ambalchery Region. Despite of the representation, sofar there is no response from the authorities. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition.
3.Heard the submissions made on either side and perused the material documents carefully.
4.Taking into consideration of the fact that the petitioner's application is pending before the first respondent from 06.07.2016, the first respondent/the State Project Director, Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan, Nungambakkam, Chennai, is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 06.07.2016 and pass suitable orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5.Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
