The petitioner has further submitted that during the pendency of the writ petition, on 28.08.2015, the Revenue Divisional Officer had issued a notice, dated 26.07.2015, under Section 12(2) of the Land Acquisition Act intimating the amount of compensation and calling upon the land owners to receive the compensation with relevant documents, failing which the compensation amount will be deposited before the court. From the said notice, it has been revealed that the compensation amount had never been paid to the land owners as on 26.07.2015. The said notice, dated 26.07.2015, is extracted hereunder:
