It is the case of the petitioner that, the crime was registered as Crime No.587/2017 on the file of respondent No.4 for the alleged offences under sections 354A, 354C, 354D, 506, 379, 109 I.P.C on 19-11-2017. Thereafter, the petitioner was remanded to judicial custody illegally for which, a contempt case is pending vide CC No.1277 of 2018 before this Court.
The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the crime is registered in the year, 2017 and till now, the investigating officer has neither completed the investigation nor filed the chargesheet.
