The Aapplicant filed an RTI application dt.8.5.09 with the CPIO, Prasar Bharati, Purnea stating that he had applied for the post of technician in Prasar Bharati, Purnea in response to an advertisement and that he has not been called for the interview. He added that in this connection, he had also sent a copy of his application to Dy. Director (A) and requested that he be called for interview at the earliest. The CPIO replied on 27.5.09 stating that as per the guidelines of the AIR Directorate minimum educational/technical qualifications for the post of technician is 2 years ITI / diploma in electronics/communication. Not satisfied with the reply, the Applicant filed a complaint dt.5.7.09 before CIC requesting the Commission to give directions to CPIO to call him (the Applicant) for the interview at the earliest..
