I would like to make a request to the House. Before the Major Port Trusts (Amendment) Bill, 2000 is brought up- for voting, I would like to appeal to the Government kindly to reconsider. We have moved an amendment. One of my senior colleagues, Shri Priya Ranjan Dasmunsi had talked about the complexities of this Bill and of the many complications, intricacies of this Bill and the number of ramifications it had.
