Background
1. The Applicant filed an RTI Application dt.14.9.10 with the CPIO, MEA seeking the status of his letter dt.1.10.09 addressed to Minister of External Affairs and other related information. The CPIO replied on 2.11.10 stating that the same is not traceable in the concerned Division of the Ministry and requested the Applicant to forward another copy of the same immediately so tha action can be taken. Not satisfied with the reply, the Applicant filed an appeal dt.15.12.10 with the Appellate Authority while enclosing a copy of the letter dt.1.10.09. On not receiving any further information, the Applicant filed a second appeal dt.Nil before CIC stating that despite having received another copy of the letter dt.1.10.09, no reply has been received.
