petitioner assailed the said election, mainly on two
grounds;
(i) tampering of EVM i.e. Electronic Voting
Machines, amounting to corrupt practice, including
the alleged ... success in 88 Loha Assembly Constituency, such as, (1) Tampering of
EVMs i.e. Electronic Voting Machines, including Booth capturing and (2)
improper reception
counting of
votes, malfunctioning of control unit of electronic voting machines
(EVM) of Polling Station No.6, non-closure of control unit of the EVM ... first round of counting was going on in table No.6, the
EVM of Polling Station No.6 failed to display any result when
victory of the first respondent by manipulating the Electronic Voting Machines (EVM). There were totally 279 Polling Stations in No.185, Tiruppathur Assembly Constituency ... considered.
ix)In the 20th round, when the EVM pertaining to Polling Station No.275, Kottaiyur was brought to Table
petitioner, was also present.
In respect of manipulation of the EVMs, he relied on the report sent
by the Central Forensic Science Laboratory, Hyderabad (CFSL ... which could be detected. He submitted that the
petitioner asked that the EVMs at polling station No.185 only are to
be sent
